This engagement with Anthony Romero, NU’s Archives & Special Collections, and Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art started in 2019 through our Lab Seminar, and evolved into the creation of Fight Displacement!, a trivia board game designed to educate local Bostonians how to fight housing displacement and influence development.
A series of community engagement and community listening events led to legal empowerment workshops at the ICA where the board game was tested as an educational tool and iterated.
